1st day: We leave from Athens following the south coastal road until we reach the Corinth Canal that separates the mainland of Greece from the peninsula of Peloponese (short stop). Then we drive on to Mycenae, the prehistorical settlement from where the Mycenaeans set off for the Trojan war, in order to visit the Archaeological Site and the Treasury of Atreas. Then drive on to visit the Theatre of Epidaurus, the best preserved theater famous for its remarkable acoustics. Last, we proceed to the town of Nafplio, the first capital of Greece. Overnight and dinner in Nafplio.

2nd day: In the morning we depart for Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games, we visit the Archaeological Site, the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium and then the  Archaeological Museum. Overnight and dinner in Olympia.

3rd day: In the morning we drive on through the plains of Ilia and Achaia until we cross one of the biggest suspended bridge of Europe, the bridge of Rion-Antirion. Then we pass by the picturesque towns of Nafpactos (Lepanto) and Itea and we arrive in Delphi where we visit the Archaeological Site, the most famous oracle or the ancient world located in the foothills of mount Parnassus, and the Museum of Delphi. Then we proceed to the village of Arachova. Overnight and dinner in Arachova.

4th day: In the morning we depart for Kalambaka, a small town located at the foot of the astonishing complex of Meteora. On the way to Kalambaka, and near the city of Trikala, we will have the chance to have a wine tasting in one of the most famous wineries of the area, where we attend as well a presentation about the production and the different qualities of wine. Arrival early in the afternoon in Kalambaka where we will have free time to explore the small picturesque town. Overnight and dinner in Kalambaka.

5th day: In the morning we visit one of the most striking sceneries of Greece, Meteora, the gigantic rocks, which seem to be suspended in mid-air, where ageless Monasteries stand and where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art.  Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (short stop to see across the road the Leonida's Monument).  Arrive in Athens early in the evening.
